Christina, I will complete the survey with all excellent remarks, but wanted you to know that I think Ed in the Service Department is a tremendous asset to your organization and I appreciate the way he not only takes care of the 3 Toyota vehicles I’ve purchased from you that are still being services at your location but also my Mother’s Camry. Ed never hesitates to provide good advice, he doesn’t take advantage of her like some less reputable repair shops might, to the contrary he looks for ways to save her money while at the same time keeping her vehicle in good running condition. He and Howie Locke are two of the reasons I keep coming back to Hurlbert Toyota even though there are many other dealerships vying for my business.

This is a short note to say thank you to you and your team at Hurlbert Toyota on the great job you did on our 2000 Tundra frame replacement. I had trepidations about basically gutting the truck and replacing everything, but I can say Ron and your team did a great job. Attention to detail was excellent and the truck drives and runs great. The other factor was, you were easy to work with and accommodating especially regarding the parts I supplied and then replacing those “other parts” you felt necessary. The truck drives and sounds like a new one now and we look forward to many more years of service from our 2000 Tundra. We will continue to get our car (Lexus LS430) serviced at Hurlbert as well in the future.

Christina, Thank you so very much for your loyalty to Toyota and their customers. You have really saved us. We are in North Conway with our grandchildren vacationing and the belt broke when we were on the top of Cathedral Ledge. We drove down and back to our hotel, driving about a 1/4 of a mile at a time. Then we would sit for a while so the car would not over heat. Then when we got back to the hotel, we found out that there were no local parts stores nor was there a local Toyota dealer. We actually had to call a family member to drive 2 plus hours us bring us one I was so very lucky to have found you to help us out. Again, thank you so very much for your assistance and loyalty!

Hi Christina, I just wanted to take a moment to email you regarding my recent experience with your service department. My husband and I have owned many Toyotas over the years and as such have experienced many different service departments. We purchased our 2007 FJ Cruiser from Hurlbert in February of 2008. Although we live in Dover we go out of our way to visit your dealership for all our service just based on the excellent customer service. It is always easy to make an appointment and it is always such a pleasure to deal with everyone that we encounter. The staff members are always polite and make sure that all our questions are answered.
I brought my truck in last Wednesday morning for a front end alignment. The tech (Lou) recommended that we not do it as the rear control arms are bent and will need to be replaced. Most dealerships would have done the work regardless of the outcome and simply charged me (unfortunately I have experienced this so I know it would happen). The tech took the time to show me the underneath of my truck and explain his reasons. He also spoke with my husband on the phone so that we were all on the same page. I was pleasantly surprised to walk out without any balance at all. I was more than happy to pay for the time that my truck was on the lift. This just shows what a class act your dealership is and I recommend you often. I am the Vice President of a 4wheeling club called Yankee Toys that caters solely to Toyota owners and they all know how much we personally respect Hurlbert Toyota.
I just wanted to say "Thanks" and we look forward to many years of having our vehicles serviced by Hurlbert. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

My Review of Hurlbert Toyota:
From the moment I walked in through the doors, the customer service was friendly and was not pushy for one minute. As I waited to be assisted I felt comfortable and enjoyed the fact that there was a well organized sitting area. I have been to other car dealer places and I felt pressured to purchase a vehicle and not for one minute did I feel that way when I went to Hulbert. I explained what I needed in a vehicle and the budget I'm on. I was not sure in the vehicle I wanted to purchase but Christina listened to my needs and set me up with the perfect vehicle for me and my family and she made sure I did not go over budget and it was something I can afford on a monthly basis.
The experience was great and I was satisfied with the purchase and service I received. Christina went the extra mile and transferred my items from my trade in vehicle to my new purchase since she knew it was going to be hard for me to let go and knew I would get emotional.
Thank you Hulbert for all you have done to make sure this all went smooth for me.

This is hands down the best dealership, new or used, that I have ever done business with. They were very up front and honest with me. No smoke and mirrors, being a member of this site has given me at least a basic knowledge of how Scion works, and I know that the folks here absolutely know what they are talking about. Very friendly and straightforward. The service department is also very good. They answer any and all questions thrown at them. They are prompt and easy to work with.
Compared to some other dealerships, Hulbert seems more in touch with what Scion is all about. With Scion, and even Toyota sales, this dealership is a breath of fresh air and I plan on doing business with them as long as I live in the area. |
| I recently inquired about a vehicle online at Hurlbert Toyota... They quickly replied to my specific questions and respected my wishes of not being called.. The email included numerous links to webpages that had info about the vehicle, like e-brochures, videos, carfax reports and a lot more... When I visited the dealership I was impressed with the building and the professionalism of the sales & service department. The terms & price that I was emailed did not change once I walked in the door. It's great to know there is a place that is more concerned about what the CUSTOMER wants and meeting those needs. Thanks Hurlbert Toyota for the ease of purchasing and knowing I can refer fiends and family to a place that will not let them down! Tina B |

My wife and I dealt until 9PM one Wednesday night over $9 a month on a brand new Toyota Tacoma TRD at Prime Toyota. We haggled and haggled and they wouldn't come down the $9. A day or so went by and Rick from Hurlbert called me, I told him about our trade, money down, and MSRP on the truck we looked at. Friday Prime Toyota called and said they went down the $9, I was going to go up Fridaynight, but Rick called from Hurlbert and said he could beet the deal. I figured what the heck, I will try it Saturday, and if not, off to Prime we go. We went to Hurlbert, met Rick, they looked at my trade, and then we sat down, my wife and I thinking, "here we go". Rick walked in, slid the paper across the table, looked at me and said, this is our best deal, I looked and it was $12 lower then my max payment I wanted to make, I asked, "this includes everything, tax, title, all the fee's" , he said yes. We bought it, The best experience from all dealerships I went to.
